Track 15 to Host a South Asian-American Cultural Experience on August 15th
Track 15, located at 1 Union Station in Providence, will partner with Breaking Bread, a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the talent and opportunity gap through mentoring and leadership development, for a South Asian American Cultural Experience on Saturday, August 15th.
The event will feature Bollywood dance troupe Dance BFF and henna tattoos. Sanjiv Dhar, owner of Little Chaska at Track 15, will cook kebabs and naan in traditional outdoor clay ovens, and drink specials will include Kingfisher Beer, frozen mango cocktails, and Pani Puri. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch how to make naan.
Beautiful Day, a nonprofit organization that helps refugees adjust to life in America by offering paid, on-the-job training, will also be on-site.
