46th RI Heritage Festival
Travel the globe without leaving Rhode Island! Join us at the 46th Annual Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 21st, for an unforgettable celebration of the state’s vibrant cultural diversity. Hosted by the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission, this free event promises a day packed with live performances, international cuisine, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Start the festivities early with the parade of international flags at 11:50 AM, representing over 30 countries. Then, enjoy a rich lineup of cultural performances, from Bollywood dance to Irish step, Polynesian hula to Korean harp, and much more. Performances will continue all afternoon, showcasing Rhode Island’s incredible heritage through music, dance, and storytelling.
Families can head to the children’s area for free face painting, arts, and crafts, while foodies indulge in traditional bites from local vendors like Cultro PVD, Eat Village Greek, Angkor Boba Tea House, and The Luxe Lemon food trucks. Whether you’re here for the dancing, the art, or the flavors, there’s something for everyone!
