The Gordon School Hosts “Day after Earth Day” Movie Night Featuring a Screening of Future Council
Future Council, which was shown at the 2026 Providence Children’s Film Festival, not only aligns with Gordon’s mission of environmentalism and raising up children’s voices in advocacy, but also perfectly connects to Gordon’s theme this year of sustenance and sustainability. A Gordon family identified the mission-aligned film and has generously funded the screening with a gift to the Gordon Fund in order to bring the community together in support of the school’s mission and the arts.
The event is free and open to the public (the film is rated PG and therefore recommended for children over the age of eight). A discussion with attendees led by Veronica Jutras, Assistant Head for Community Partnerships, will follow the screening.
