Broken Glass Projection Mapping 3-D Projection Mapping Show at St. Anthony of Padua Church
Broken Glass Projection Mapping will present a captivating evening of art, light, and music with a special 3-D Light Show at St. Anthony of Padua Church, in collaboration with the historic church, New Bedford TDI Partnership and Explore New Bedford, on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 5:00 p.m. inside St. Anthony of Padua Church at 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, MA and is open to the public free of charge.
Projection mapping, an art form that has captivated audiences worldwide, transforms everyday structures into stunning works of art by projecting vibrant videos and images onto them. This unique 3-D technique, pioneered across Europe, arrived in New Bedford through the creative expertise of local artist Nelson Rapoza, founder of Broken Glass Projection Mapping.
This special event at St. Anthony of Padua Church will bring new dimension and vibrancy to the historic contours of one of New Bedford’s most beloved landmarks. And, another opportunity to Love The Ave - the latest in a series of special events that showcase the culture and creative businesses centered around the commercial corridor of Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford’s north end.
