Dec. 3, 3 to 5pm Holiday Open House at Governor Sprague Mansion Museum.  5pm Outside Tree Lighting with Bain School Choir. The Cranston Historical Society has graciously opened the Sprague Mansion to the community at no charge for decades ~ It is our way to say thank you, share some kindred warmth & welcome our visitors from near and afar.  Pianist Andrew Kaplan to provide traditional music selections. Western Cranston Garden Club decorates the Mansion in Victorian splendor ~ Museum Shop open.

 4pm Greetings from City of Cranston Mayor Kenneth Hopkins & Guests

 5pm Outside Tree Lighting: Sponsored by Ward 3 Councilman John Donegan, special guests. Bain Choir providing holiday tunes at Mansion Gazebo! Visit Sprague Carriage House for hot cocoa provided by teachers/parents; Visit OneCranston table.

Located on the historic W3R Washington-Rochambeau Route, the official National Park Service trail our French Allies marched from Newport to Yorktown during the Revolutionary War.  Donations welcome.  Host your next event ~ meeting ~ even tea at the Sprague Mansion.
