THE BIG SPRING BOOK SALE at Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street, Providence, RI 02906.
April 22-25, 2026
Over 15,000 books in two rooms. Community Room books are priced at $2 for hardcover and large p-back; $1 for soft cover; children's books are 50cents and $1. Specials room has higher priced, antiquarian, vintage, Art, First editions, sets, vintage childrens. Books are sorted by category: Art, Biography, History, Cooking, Fiction, Mystery, SciFI, Nature, Science, Religion, Sports, Pets, Crafts etc .
This sale includes: Books donated by patrons of the library. No media at this sale. No ex-library books.
Preview/Dealers ($30 fee to enter) Wednesday April 22: 10-2;
Friends Hours (renew or join at the door): Wed, April 22, 4-730 PM;
Open to the public-no fee to enter- Thurs April 23 930am-7pm; Fri, April 24 1-430pm ( Books are half price on Friday) and Sat, April 25 930-430 Fill a bag for $5 and Specials room books are 1⁄2 price til 1PM, then 3⁄4 price til closing.

Please note - If you need to find a new home for your books and media collection, we take donations all year of books, CDs, DVDs, and Vinyl at Rochambeau Branch Library 708 Hope Street, Providence. The proceeds of the Book and Media Sales are used in support of the library.
Please support the Library’s food bank and bring canned or boxed food if you can, when you come to the sale. Thank you very much.
