ABOUT SONS OF MYSTRO
Sons of Mystro are genre-defying violinists who blend classical training with reggae, hip hop, pop, and rock. These Florida-raised brothers have shared stages with artists like Sean Paul, Fantasia, and Earth, Wind & Fire, using violins to express lyrics with striking emotion and flair.
ABOUT KICKIN’ BRASS BAND
Kickin’ Brass Band is Rhode Island’s loudest, tightest, and wildest brass band. Known for their energetic performances and street-parade vibes, they bring bold sound and serious fun to every show.
ABOUT MARIAM KABA’S RESTORING THE VILLAGE PROJECT
Mariam Kaba’s award-winning Restoring the Village Project is a community-building initiative focused on job aid, education, and fostering pride in Woonsocket. Her work over the past three years has brought lasting impact to the city through efforts like calm corners and wellbeing rooms in schools, field trips to local colleges, mural installations, community cleanups, job fairs, a youth food pantry, and the creation of the Woonsocket Situation Table. In collaboration with dozens of local partners, Mariam’s vision continues to strengthen connections and invest in a brighter future for Woonsocket residents.
