Le Grand DeĢrangement - The Great Upheaval
From 1755 to 1763 approximately 13,000 French Catholic Acadians, from the Maritime provinces of what is now Canada, were deported and exiled to the North American colonies, England, France and various Caribbean islands. It was a form of ethnic cleansing by the British Government.
Refreshments will be served. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share with friends.
