Originally founded in 1985, AIDS Project Rhode Island (APRI) was the first AIDS service organization in Rhode Island. Now a program of Family Service of Rhode Island, APRI's mission is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative response to the needs of people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV. We strive to accomplish our mission through leadership in prevention, education, supportive services, and advocacy. We serve more than 1,500 people throughout Rhode Island every year.
The annual APRI AIDS Run/Walk for Life is raising funds used to provide resources and support services for community members living with and at risk for HIV in Rhode Island.
