Poet and Memoirist Danielle Chapman will join us at the library for a reading and conversation. She will read from her recent memoir, Holler, a moving portrait of her southern, military childhood. Danielle has taught in the English department at Yale since 2013 and is currently teaching "Shakespeare and the Craft of Writing Poetry," a hybrid literature/ creative writing course that pairs poetry from Shakespeare's plays with contemporary poems.This program is part of the 14 Gold Street spiritual refuge series developed by Fr. Spencer Reece, award-winning poet and rector of St. Paul's Church in Wickford.
