How To Price Your Work
Peer-to-Peer Sessions is a free and accessible (mostly) online series geared to enrich, educate, and connect creatives through a series of workshops and training sessions. New Bedford is the home of artists, creatives, change makers, designers, entrepreneurs and community enthusiasts and the Peer-to-Peer Sessions embraces the pulse that makes New Bedford so unique while expanding our knowledge and connections.Funding for this initiative is provided by the City of New Bedford, through American Rescue Plan awards, and its Arts, Culture and Tourism Fund. Additional support comes from the Barr Foundation and Bristol County Savings Bank. Peer-to-Peer Sessions is one component of a larger initiative to support arts-based economic development.
More about Jenny Newman-Arruda:
Jenny Newman-Arruda graduated in 2002 with a BFA in Jewelry/Metalsmithing from UMass Dartmouth. While attending UMD, she also studied fiber arts. Jenny prefers working with a more hands-on, traditional method in both of her chosen mediums. After graduation, she started a jewelry studio with friend and classmate Arianna Swink called Tenacious Lilly Jewelers. In 2008, Arianna and Jenny took over the New Bedford shop that was selling their jewelry. They created TL6 the Gallery. TL6 is a consignment-based gallery that shows a rotating lineup of 20 different local artists and also serves as a working jewelry studio.
