AHA! Night - Art in Tune
Music is at the heart of every AHA! Night, and so we’re delighted to welcome you to AHA! Night: ART IN TUNE, on Thursday, October 10th, sponsored by BayCoast Bank.
There is something for everyone at this free, family-friendly event, including art, crafts, demonstrations, and, of course, music:
- For this month’s AHA! Seaport Sessions, enjoy Brazilian jazz courtesy of Lori Gomes and “Hercules” Tomar Lobo at Lori’s own Union Beauty.
- Explore the jack-o-lanterns on display, join the scavenger hunt, and enjoy the music of Cool Banana Wig at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum.
- Listen to Debra Cowan’s (traditional and sometimes bawdy!) maritime music at New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center.
- Learn about cabinets of curiosities from Beth Jones, the newest Artist-in-Residence at the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park.
- Share your favorite fossil finds and their stories, plus learn from fellow fossil enthusiasts at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
- Learn about–and taste–plant-based recipes from award-winning cookbook author Terry Walters at The Drawing Room.
- See a live film set, learn about the set dressing process, and meet the cast and crew of the new series, “Davina, The Delivery Witch” at the CO+ Creative Center.
