Family Fun with Newport Tree Conservancy!
NTC is excited to announce a new family friendly tree walk series including three separate walks around Newport’s local parks! During each session participants will explore the park's trees, learn about their benefits to various living beings, and make fascinating discoveries. Participants will create their own field guides using leaf and bark rubbings. Those attending multiple programs can look forward to compiling their illustrations into a personalized booklet for future tree-spotting adventures.
The remaining dates are as follows:
Saturday, August 3rd at Miantonomi Park, 10:00am - 11:30am
Saturday, August 17th at Aquidneck Park, 10:00am - 11:30am
This program is best suited for children aged 4 and above. Each program costs $5 per family. When registering please indicate the number of children and adults in your group! We can't wait for you to join us on our new adventure!
