Rogers Invitational Golf Tournament
Golf enthusiasts and community supporters are invited to participate in the upcoming Rogers Invitational, a golf tournament benefiting the Rogers High School athletics program. The tournament takes place Friday, Aug. 8 at Green Valley Country Club, located at 371 Union St. in Portsmouth.
The annual tournament raises essential funds for Rogers High School’s athletics programs, helping to provide updated equipment, uniforms, facility improvements and opportunities for student-athletes to compete and grow both on and off the field.
“This tournament is more than just a game of golf,” said athletic director Anthony Borgueta. “It’s about investing in our students and the values of teamwork, perseverance and school pride. Every dollar raised will go directly into programs that make a real impact.”
What to expect:
• 18 holes of golf at Green Valley Country Club
• Lunch included
• Player gift bags and raffles
• On-course contests (longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.)
• Awards ceremony following play
Participants can register as a foursome, and individual golfers are also welcome. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
