Watercolor Postcards Across America book signing- Donald Mong
Long time East Greenwich resident, Donald Mong, announces the release of his newest art book entitled “Watercolor Postcards Across America.” There will be a “Meet and Greet” book signing on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Crestar Framing, 51 Liberty Street, East Greenwich, RI.
In “Watercolor Postcards Across America” readers will find a variety of watercolor paintings of beautiful landmarks from across the United States. The book visually takes you from east coast to west with Don’s stunning ability to capture places and people that make up the fabric of our country using a unique postcard style. Even stopping a local post offices for the official stamp!
Donald Mong has been a resident of East Greenwich for over 20+ years where he served as an East Greenwich Police Officer. He took up painting as a hobby after his retirement and enjoys painting local venues throughout Rhode Island. He recently designed the new The Beavertail Charity License Plate which was distributed this past summer as well as being commissioned to paint a portrait of Nick Cardi for the dedicated Military Lounge at T.F Green Airport.
