4th Annual Summer of Hope Food Drive, Tuesday, June 3rd at Cindy's Diner and Restaurant, Scituate RI
New Day Planning and Cindy’s Diner and Restaurant invite you to join us, in partnership with Feed RI, to provide a hunger-free summer for students in our Scituate community as well as other communities around Rhode Island.
This event will help us address a critical need for students who don’t have access to school provided free or reduced priced breakfasts and lunches during the summer. The food collected will ensure that students facing food insecurity look forward to summer as a time for fun, not hunger.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Pick up a bag at these locations.
New Day Planning, 26 Hartford Pike, North Scituate, RI
Cindy’s Diner and Restaurant, 46 Hartford Ave, Scituate, RI
2. Fill it with as many food items from this list as you can. Any quantity of the items is appreciated.
Boxed Mac and Cheese Pasta
Canned Chicken, Tuna, or Ham Pasta Sauce
Hamburger Helper Peanut Butter
Boxed Mashed Potatoes Jelly
Rice Crackers
Soup Oatmeal
Powdered Lemonade Canned Fruit
