    07/30/2024 07:30 PM 07/30/2024 09:30 PM America/Anguilla Bridging the Gap: Jazz at the Casino Theatre A performance at the Casino Theatre on Tuesday, July 30th at 7:30 pm will feature Salve Dance and special guest performers Sabrina Naz Comănescu and Kaja Irwin from Decidedly Jazz Danceworks (DJD) of Calgary, Alberta. Choreographers include Brandi Coleman (Dallas, TX), Kimberley Cooper (Calgary, AB), Carlos Jones (Buffalo, NY), Salve Professor Lindsay Guarino and students Livia Armstrong ’25, Trinity Leite ’25, and Jala Settles ’25. New works will be performed to original compositions by Julius Rodriguez in addition to choreography that spans from the swinging sounds of Dizzy Gillespie to the propulsive music of New Orleans based Trombone Shorty to the soulful sounds of Nina Simone.
