8th Annual Cardines Classic
Get ready for an exciting night of baseball under the lights! ⚾️ The 8th Annual Cardines Classic returns to historic Cardines Field in Newport, RI, on October 3, 2025. Students from the U.S. Naval War College (USNWC) will take the field as both the Army and Navy teams, wearing authentic WWI-era baseball uniforms. This living-history game celebrates the enduring role of baseball during World War I. The event is free and open to all.

⚾️ Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
⚾️ First pitch at 5:30 p.m.
⚾️ Free admission
In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be October 10, 2025.
