Second Sundays at the Farm
--> Kick off Land Trust Days with RI Land Trust Council: Join us at 12:30 for a guided hike on our trails to celebrate our #RIWalks Thistle winning the Creature Clash!
--> Drum Circle 2–3:30 pm: Jim Tull and Brenna Corrigan will bring instruments to share; feel free to bring your own drums or other percussion instruments.
--> 15 Minute Field Trips will present ‘Terrific Turtles’: Create a turtle from repurposed materials while learning about 6 species of turtles in RI and how to protect them.
--> Guided hikes to the updated story walk in partnership with the Libraries of Foster.
--> Farm Walk with the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District: Learn about the agricultural history of Foster
--> Tour our Food Bank Garden: See what our volunteer crew grows, learn about the importance of pollinators, and learn how you can volunteer.
--> Farmhouse Museum Tours: View Charles Borders’ collections and learn about local history and New England farm life.
And...enjoy frozen treats and play yard games!
