Join us for basketball, breakdancing, graffiti, Xtreme Hip Hop workshops, a performance by New Bedford Performing Arts Center, dance party with DJ Anghelli, and free pizza courtesy of Domino's.
From spinning the ball to spinning the beats, you will be introduced to 360 degrees of rotation rooted in hip hop culture in an afternoon of free workshops. Get a behind-the-scenes look at - and practice building - the skills that 360 AllStars will show off in their performance at NBHS the next day, March 17.
The event takes place from 11am to 2pm in the gym at Andrea McCoy Recreation Center (181 Hillman St., Bldg. 8, New Bedford).
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Acushnet and New Bedford local cultural councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, and The Carney Foundation.
This event is free and open to all, but we ask you to please register in advance by "purchasing" a ticket, above.
