Fri-YAY: Eastern Medicine Singers
Folk, soul, pop, electronica, rock, hip-hop, and jazz, are just some of the genres you might hear at any given FriYAY event. Hear local musicians play a two-hour set.
The Art Museum presents the Eastern Medicine Singers, a Rhode Island-based, inter-tribal Algonquin drum group dedicated to preserving the Eastern Woodlands American Indian language and culture through song.
At this FriYAY concert they will perform traditional powwow-style drumming and vocals.
