Providence New Year's Eve Celebration
The Providence Tourism Council and the City of Providence are thrilled to announce the return of a citywide New Year's Eve celebration with the Illuminate PVD Fireworks at the Michael Van Leesten Pedestrian Bridge on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
Join us for the evening at 195 Innovation District Park, where festivities will illuminate the night from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be a heated tent where The Guild will be on hand, serving beverages to the 21+ crowd, while food trucks, interactive art activations, and roaming entertainment, including the Providence Drum Troupe, Extraordinary Rendition Brass Band and local musician Jose Docen, promise enjoyment for all ages.
There will be a lighting of WaterFire's braziers surrounding the pedestrian bridge, starting at 7:00 p.m., setting the stage for the Providence Tourism Council's Illuminate PVD Fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. The Michael Van Leesten Pedestrian Bridge offers the perfect vantage point, providing views of the fireworks on the Providence River.
