First Fridays at the New Bedford Whaling Museum: Zunzún Trio with Nina Ott
Join the New Bedford Whaling Museum for a date night or night out with friends, tailormade for grownups! The Museum opens after hours for a 21-plus event featuring fun entertainment amongst fine art collections and artifacts, with signature cocktails, mocktails, and delicious complimentary lite bites.
On Friday, May 3, the museum presents jazz pianist and composer Nina Ott with her bandmates Chris Lopes on bass and Bertram Lehmann on drums. Known as the Zunzún Trio, these talented artists bring a wide-ranging repertoire of modern jazz and Afro-Caribbean-influenced music, with original pieces brought to music by Thelonious Monk and Bebo Valdés.
