VANCOUVER MALL WELCOMES THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON WITH A FUN-FILLED LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Vancouver Mall, a lifestyle shopping center providing shopping, dining, entertainment and a host of services to residents of Southwest Washington and the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area (www.ShopVancouverMall.com), will welcome the Year of the Dragon with a fun-filled Lunar New Year celebration in the center’s MyPerks Lounge on Saturday, February 10th. From 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., guests will enjoy storytelling by renowned orator Alton Chung. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., attendees will be treated to an inspiring demonstration by an expert calligraphy artist. At 3 p.m., a lion dance troupe will hold a spectacular performance in Center Court (near Forever 21). For good luck in the new year, attendees will be given red envelopes containing prizes ranging from a $2 bill to retailer gift cards valued up to $100 (while supplies last). And throughout the event, guests will also be treated to cookies, oranges, juice, water, tea, coffee and more in the MyPerks Lounge. Not a MyPerks member? No problem.
