Christmas/Epiphany Concert
The Lutheran Choral Association offers its Christmas/Epiphany Concert January 7, 2024, at 4:00 pm, at Peace Lutheran Church. (The 12 days of Christmas begin, not end, on December 25.) Enjoy this large ecumenical choir, which has sung since 1938.
Music will include Handel's "Hallelujah" chorus, familiar carols (including sing-a-longs), original pieces by such composers as Mark Hayes, and some beautiful less well-known carols.
The choir has members from dozens of churches and several denominations in the metropolitan area.
Sue Thompson Armentrout directs the choir, and the pianist is Karl Jurisons. There is an offering rather than an admission charge. A reception follows.
