The Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Celebrates Mother's Day!
What better way to celebrate the mothers in our lives than to give them the gift of live symphonic music. We have a program designed with something for everyone, from soaring melodies echoing the Northern Lights, to a tribute to the music of Gilbert and Sullivan, music from Glenn Miller, the western feel of Sedona, and dance music from the Mediterranean region. Jeff Binns, our euphonium soloist will delight with a feature solo, and our trombones will get a work out in the march "Rolling Thunder". That is just a taste of what is to come during this musical celebration of all the different mothers in our lives. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted. Mothers will receive the gift of a rose on their way out. There will be pre-concert music in the lobby by the Trillium Flute Consort, as well as local artists displaying their works.
