    03/09/2025 03:00 PM 03/09/2025 05:00 PM America/Boise Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Band Presents a spring matinee concert on Sunday, March 9th The nationally award winning LO Millennium Concert Band, in its 25th season, invites you to an all-ages matinee concert at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, titled "Celebrate the Coming of Spring."  As the days lengthen, the sun starts to come out, and the spring equinox is on the horizon, we offer a very eclectic program of celebration overtures, American dances, music reflecting different liquor producing regions, and circus marches, among others. Classic composers like Alfred Reed, John Philip Sousa, and Robert Russell Bennet contrast against contemporary composers Roland Barrett and Brian Balmages to provide something for every musical palette.   Come early and enjoy one of our small ens... Classic composers like Alfred Reed, John Philip Sousa, and Robert Russell Bennet contrast against contemporary composers Roland Barrett and Brian Balmages to provide something for every musical palette.   Come early and enjoy one of our small ensembles as they provide pre-concert music in the lobby, and admire the work of a local artist or two. Doors open at 2:00PM. There is no admission charge.
