How Communication Influences Care in the Non-Dementia Adult Population


On Thursday, April 4th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oregon Care Partners will host a free training about How Communication Influences Care in the Non-Dementia Adult Population. This self-discovery training will focus on identifying your individual style of communication and how you read and respond to stressful situations. An expert instructor will help you see how biases, belief systems and assumptions can impact how you respond to a challenging behavior and will help you learn how changing your behavior and finding new ways to respond can create a more positive outcome. WHAT: A FREE TRAINING for caregivers about How Communication Influences Care in the Non-Dementia Adult Population. This class guides you through methods to appropriately evaluate and navigate personal communication styles and the impact those styles have on the person in your care, particularly those experiencing challenging behaviors.
