Centennial High School Performing Arts Department presents "Little Shop of Horrors"

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world. The Centennial High School production of Little Shop of Horrors opens May 2nd and runs through May 11th. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! For Centennial High School’s production, Kellie McCarty directs, Sharon V. Miller choreographs, Morgan DeLange is music director, with Angel Morgan, Technical Director and Jill Moss, Costumer. The cast is led by Senior, Aidan Moore as Seymour, Senior, Braiden Yasui as Mr. Mushnik, and Junior, Audrey De La Paz as Audrey, along with a talented group of Freshman through Seniors filling out the other roles. Little Shop of Horrors performances run at the Centennial High School Auditorium, 3505 SE 182nd Avenue, Gresham, OR 97030. The show is rated PG-13 for some language, drug use, mature themes, and violence. Parents are advised to use caution when bringing children. Tickets are reserved and are $12 for adults and $10 for Students and Senior Citizens.
