Harkening from Silverton, Oregon, The Standing has been filling the dance floors with their style of music for almost two decades. The band's genre-fluid style mixes bluegrass and country with rock to create a sound that is enjoyed by all ages and audiences. The Standing setlist features a mix of original songs and unique covers of classic country standards as well as mixing in other genres (from Waylon to Lemmy). Get ready to dance when this high-energy band comes to town.
The band makes their way down the Willamette Valley for their first time at the primer PNW music venue. This 12,200 square foot restaurant/bar/music venue features the best in dining and live music, musicians and vocalists.
The spacious room, lights, and decor make a nice backdrop to an outstanding professional quality sound system that has been described as “the best sounding system in the Northwest” by both patrons and the bands who play here. The studio quality sound system has been designed and mixed by 30 year veteran in sound engineering, Steve Griffiths. The professional light show, (a gorgeous; amazing; photogenic; killer lighting system designed and operated by veteran drummer & visual effects specialist, Kent Drangsholt), accentuates the whole sensory experience! The extra large dance floor makes it easy for you, and your friends, to shake-it-up with the best live music by local and national artists!
