Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation at the Yeon Gallery
Gregory Grenon a prominent Northwest artist and friend to us at the Foundation, tragically passed away earlier this year.
"Gregory Grenon's revolutionary work made him an undeniable legend in the Portland art scene," said Jordan Schnitzer, JSFF Director. "Soon after he arrived in Portland, my late mother, Arlene Schnitzer, was so impressed with his work that she asked him to join her Fountain Gallery of Art. In the years he was represented by the gallery, his solo exhibitions sold out quickly-captivating collectors with his innovative back of glass painting technique and found objects. I know all of us in the community express our sincere condolences to his wife, artist Mary Josephson, and their daughter, Aurora."
