Gardenfest! Nature’s Finest Marketplace, returns the first weekend in February to Riverside Park, just blocks from the ocean. This event is one of the largest free and family-friendly garden shows in Central Florida. It has become one of the major festivals on the Treasure Coast with over 85 vendors participating and 20,000 garden enthusiasts attending. Guest stroll under the oaks while enjoying displays that have been created with great skill and care to show the latest trends in plant material and design. At Gardenfest! this February 3 and 4, 2024, vendors will be selling garden related items for yard or patio such as planters, pottery, fountains, furniture, lighting, statuary and other garden accessories. Suppliers are pleased to offer Florida natives, unusual tropicals, and unique plant specimens. Plants for sale will include palms, ferns, orchids, bromeliads, herbs, succulents, bamboo, fruit trees, bonsai, roses, geraniums and other annuals. Vendors are always happy to answer questions and give guidance. Master Gardeners will be on hand to give expert advice. Attendees are encouraged to bring their wagons to shop and fill with garden gems. If needed volunteers will assist you to your car. There is a Youth Activity tent and a food court to allow visitors to take a break from shopping. Wonderful raffle prizes will be gathered in a number of collections. There is something for everyone including golf packages, restaurants, theatre, entertainment, spa treatments, jewelry, art work and of course gardening. Winners do not have to be present to win. Proceeds from Gardenfest! help fund the Indian River County Garden Club's local student scholarships and community outreach programs aimed at enhancing, preserving and beautifying the landscape of Indian River County plus educating those interested in related topics.
