As mothers and caregivers of active-duty service members this is our greatest fear. Every year since we have chartered, we have chosen to honor our local Gold Star Families as their child or loved one has paid the ultimate sacrifice to serve our country. As we have two Gold Star Mothers that are members of our chapter, we know and see their pain every day. We believe as a community it is important to remember these brave young men and women and give their families a safe place to honor their children or loved ones.
