The OVN Freedom Festival & 8th Fallen Heroes Ride is a family-friendly celebration that brings together veterans, military families, first responders, and the community for a day of music, remembrance, and connection.
Hosted by Operation Vet NOW at Z&M Harley-Davidson, the festival features live performances by Marine Veteran Danny Haynes, Four Cut, the all-Veteran band Task Force Rock, and a special appearance by Jethro Blue. Attendees can also explore a Veterans Village featuring veteran support organizations and resources, veteran-owned businesses, military displays, race cars, food trucks, family activities, and a Kids Zone.
The event also includes the 8th Annual Fallen Heroes Ride, a motorcycle ride honoring Westmoreland County service members who gave their lives during Operation Desert Storm and the War in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). As 2026 marks the 35th anniversary of Desert Storm and the 25th anniversary of the War in Afghanistan, this year's ride serves as a special tribute to those local heroes and their families. The ride travels through communities across Westmoreland County before returning to the festival for a formal Fallen Heroes Tribute Ceremony.
The ceremony includes military honors, an honor guard, bagpipes and drums, rifle salute, and recognition of Gold Star Families as we remember and honor those who never made it home.
Whether you attend for the music, the mission, the ride, or the community, the OVN Freedom Festival offers something for everyone while supporting Operation Vet NOW's mission to honor our fallen heroes and be there for all who served.
