Full Day Youth Art Workshop: French Moderns
In these full day hands-on workshops, students in grades 2-5 will explore art and history through the Frick’s collections while developing their art skills across creative mediums with teaching artists. Scheduled during PPS in-service days, these workshops inspire curiosity and give students a safe place to connect, discover, and create. Participants can expect to leave with between two to five finished works of art depending on the workshop and pace of the artist.
Get inspired by French Moderns: Matisse / Renoir / Degas! Students will create artwork in response to the art movements included in French Moderns, an exhibition spanning 100 years of creativity that includes art movements such as impressionism, Fauvism, and surrealism.
Advance registration is required.

Drop-off is between 8:30 am – 9:00 am in the Education Center courtyard, located across from The Grable Visitor Center. All students must be picked up by an adult between 4:30 pm– 5:00 pm in the same location.
