8th Annual 3WS Holiday Blood Drive
Nonprofit Vitalant invites the community to make a life-saving impact at the eighth annual 3WS Holiday Blood Drive on Dec. 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at The Block at Northway Mall. Donors will not only help local patients but also be entered to win $500 in cash, dinner packages at City Winery, and concert tickets to see artists like Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, The Styx, and more!
Blood is urgently needed. Trauma patients can require up to 100 units to survive, and more than 25% of donations are used for cancer treatments. Every donation supports surgeries, emergencies, and critical care, offering hope and health to the greater Pittsburgh community.
“Every donation is a gift of hope,” said Maya Santana, Vitalant communications manager. “This holiday season, donating blood is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to give back, offering life and healing to those in need.”
