The festival kicks off with an opening reception on the evening of Friday, September 20 from 5 to 8 PM in the Community Room at Sweetwater Center for the Arts. The celebration continues on Saturday, September 21 from Noon to 6 PM as the celebration of African American art and culture moves to nearby Riverfront Park, located at 300 Chadwick.
