Pittsburgh Pirates August Blood Drives

Nonprofit Vitalant and the Pittsburgh Pirates will host their final round of blood drives for 2024 this August. In May, this 28-year-long partnership, combined with incredible community support, collected 657 blood donations, transforming patients' lives in local hospitals. Building on this momentum, Vitalant and the Pirates aim to keep the spirit of giving going at PNC Park and various locations around Pittsburgh. All donors who give blood at one of Vitalant’s Pittsburgh Pirates Blood Drives will receive a voucher for two free Pirates home game tickets (Sunday-Thursday). Additionally, donors from July 28 to August 29 will receive a $10 gift card via Donor Rewards and be entered to win one of two $10,000 gift cards. *Terms and conditions apply.
