Parallel Visions: James and Debra Zuzindlak Tobin Explore Two Creative Paths in Joint Exhibition
The Greensburg Art Center is proud to present Parallel Visions, a joint exhibition featuring the artwork of James and Debra Zuzindlak Tobin. The exhibition will be on view September 5 through October 23, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, September 5, from 6–8 p.m.
Parallel Visions invites visitors to step into a vibrant dialogue between two artists whose creative paths run parallel, yet distinctly their own. Through contrasting and complementary approaches, James and Debra explore the world through individual lenses while sharing a lifelong connection to creativity and artistic expression.
The exhibition brings together the artists’ unique perspectives, celebrating the ways two creative voices can intersect, diverge and ultimately complement one another. Visitors will experience an engaging collection of artwork that reflects each artist’s personal vision while creating a larger conversation between the works.
James Tobin is a musician and visual artist whose creative practice is informed by a lifelong passion for artistic exploration. His work reflects an expressive and imaginative approach that invites viewers to discover unexpected details and visual connections.
Debra Zuzindlak Tobin is a multidisciplinary artist and musician whose work spans photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber art, jewelry, glass mosaic and sculpture. Her wide-ranging creative practice embraces experimentation, texture, color and storytelling.
Together, Parallel Visions offers a unique opportunity to experience how two artists can share a creative journey while maintaining distinctly individual voices.
The public is invited to meet the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, September 5, from 6–8 p.m. James and Debra are also regional musicians and will be providing live music during the opening reception. The exhibition will remain on view through October 23, 2026 at the Greensburg Art Center, 230 Todd School Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
