Third Annual Pumpkin Pitchin at Devout Brewing
We’re mixing things up this year for Pumpkin Pitchin by adding in new challenges that bring more laughs, surprises, and chances for everyone to shine.
Here are all the important details you need to know:
🍂 Date: Sunday, November 2, 2025
🕐 Time: Devout opens at noon, registered athletes report at 1:30 PM, rules and scoring explanation at 2:00 PM and the pitchin starts at 2:30 PM.
📍 Location: Devout Brewing Parking Lot
Participating: Pre-registration is required and there are only 30 spots. https://pumpkinpitchin2025.eventbrite.com
Spectating: Free and open to all! We recommend bringing a chair or blanket as we'll be in the parking lot.
Food: Purchase food from Black Sheep BBQ during the event.
Competition Categories:
1. Precision watch athletes toss pumpkins at a bullseye and score points based on where the pumpkin hits inside the target.
2. Participants will toss pumpkins into water filled barrels in the Pong competition. Each barrel is worth a different amount of points.
3. The final challenge, Pins, will include rolling pumpkins at bowling pins.
This event is a fundraiser for Toys for Pittsburgh Tikes. Registration fees from each pitcher is donated due to generous donations from our sponsors. Spectators are welcome to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate or make a monetary donation to Toys for Pittsburgh Tikes.
