"Excellence In Fibers XI" Opening Reception
Join Contemporary Craft for the opening reception of "Excellence In Fibers XI." The reception is free and open to the public.
This exhibition examines the expansive field of contemporary fiber and textile practice through works that range from traditional techniques to complex expressive forms. The exhibition highlights artists who critically engage material, process, and technique, and challenge the conceptual and physical boundaries of fiber.
Organized by Fiber Art Now and juried by its creative team, this curation features forty finalists published in the Fiber Art Now Winter 2026 issue (Vol. 15). From this cohort, eleven works were selected by Contemporary Craft for presentation in the David Zeve Gallery for Regional Artists.
"Excellence In Fibers XI" is presented through a partnership between Fiber Art Now and Contemporary Craft.
