Chansons françaises: An evening of French music and wine with the Alliance Francaise de Pittsburgh
Kevin Soucie began learning French as a student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Shortly after, at McGill University in Montréal, where he heard French and Québecois songs everyday, he became passionate about singing these songs and playing them with his guitar.
Kevin has performed at many universities and at many chapters of the Alliance Française. He is a regular guest performer on the AF de Milwaukee’s “Rive Gauche” radio show.
His repertoire includes songs of Jacques Brel, Francis Cabrel, Edith Piaf, Georges Brassens, Patrick Bruel, Georges Moustaki, Charles Trenet, Joe Dassin, Thomas Fersen, Maxime Le Forestier, Charles Aznavour, Serge Reggiani, Alain Souchon, Serge Gainsbourg and a few Quebecois artists.
The Alliance Francaise de Pittsburgh welcomes you to hear Kevin play and enjoy some wine and cheese with us at Cafe Raymond.
