60-Minute Custom Massage
A 60 minute appointment is perfect when you need relief in a localized area or want a massage that consists of overall relaxation. Hot stones and cupping are included.
Therapeutic massages consist of targeted localized work to soothe aching muscles and restore range motion to tight joints.
Relaxation work can be targeted or just an overall full body massage and reiki can be included.
Duration of appointment involves 10 minutes for clothing change and 50 minutes of bodywork.
90-Minute Custom Massage
A 90 minute custom massage allows greater time to relax the whole body while targeting one to two problem locations. What better way to treat your body after therapeutic work than to have your aches and stress and concerns soothed away.
I assess each client's needs and work with them to choose a goal for each session whether therapeutic work is needed or just simple relaxation is wanted. I am trained in assisted isometric stretching using Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). This modalitiy not only focuses and stretching but strengthening muscles. I love to assist my clients in learning ways to keep limber between sessions.
I am also a Reiki Master and enjoy combining massage and reiki if that is something that interests you. Reiki is wonderful for expectant mothers and people who have health concerns that massage is contraindicated for - reiki is a gentle and non-invasive energy therapy that the practitioner can use to help induce relaxation within the client. In addition to reiki I provide guided meditations and grounding.
