The 73rd Annual Rodeo Scottsdale is Back into Westworld's Equidome Arena

Performances get underway Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. Gates open two hours prior to each show, and early arrival is encouraged for parking, concessions, and pre-rodeo festivities. Fans can expect nonstop action across classic events including Saddle Bronc, Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, and the always-popular Breakaway Roping, led by top-tier cowboys and cowgirls from across the country. Fans can also enjoy the full rodeo experience inside the Equidome Arena with vendors, concessions, delicious food, refreshments, and adult beverages available throughout the event. As the dust settles, the celebration continues with live music included with rodeo admission. Donny Grub Band will perform on Thursday, March 5, followed by Kianna Martinez on Friday, March 6. The weekend wraps up with a special Saturday night performance by Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans on Saturday, March 7. Rodeo Scottsdale began when Scottsdale was still a small ranching community and now, more than seven decades later, it has grown into one of the most respected professional rodeos by staying true to its Western roots. Dave Alford, founder of the Scottsdale Rodeo Museum and general manager of Parada del Sol Rodeo, has helped carry that legacy forward for decades and today, his children and grandchildren join him in continuing the tradition. “The Rodeo Scottsdale has always been about the community,” said Dave Alford. “When people come out to Rodeo Scottsdale, they’re stepping into a tradition that’s been handed down for generations. We put on a good, old-fashioned rodeo and Scottsdale’s been doing it for over 70 years.” Rodeo Scottsdale’s impact extends beyond the arena through the Scottsdale Rodeo Museum’s community efforts, providing surprise scholarships and direct support for youth competitors and families needing help with entry fees, travel, and essential expenses. Rodeo Scottsdale remains committed to strengthening Arizona’s youth rodeo and livestock communities while supporting the next generation of Western athletes. Fans planning their visit are encouraged to book early at the official host hotel, conveniently located just two miles from WestWorld: Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale/North Perimeter (8550 E. Princess Dr., Scottsdale, AZ 85255). Tickets are sold online only through Rodeo Scottsdale’s authorized ticketing platform. Performances are known to sell out, and early purchase is strongly recommended. For further details and to secure digital tickets, visit RodeoScottsdale.com.
