Western Spirit Museum Presents: The Train Robbers
Join Western Spirit Museum for a special screening of The Train Robbers (1973), part of the museum's Still in the Saddle exhibition and film series. Starring John Wayne, Ann-Margret, Ricardo Montalban, and Rod Taylor, this entertaining Western follows a former gunslinger hired to recover a cache of stolen gold hidden in Mexico. Known for its witty dialogue, memorable characters, and lighthearted approach to the Western genre, The Train Robbers remains a fan favorite. Following the film, acclaimed film historian, preservationist, and author Richard M. Roberts will lead a post-screening discussion exploring the movie's production, themes, and enduring appeal. Rated PG, the film runs 1 hour and 32 minutes. Admission is free for museum members and included with museum admission. Program-only tickets are available for $10.
