'''The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival will be held Saturday, May 19, from noon to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine. Each year more than 50,000 people converge on Walnut Street from Broad to 19th Streets, for Philadelphia's most upscale festival. The event features food, entertainment, shopping and family fun. This is the only event where Walnut Street is closed to automotive traffic. The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival features:• Spring fashion booths throughout the festival featuring special collections and sales from Rittenhouse Row's boutiques and salons like Joan Shepp, South Moon Under, Knit Wit, Town Home, Sephora, Nicole Miller, Arcadia Boutique, Salon Vanity and more. • An all-day culinary demonstration by Starr Restaurants' chefs, from Alma de Cuba, Barclay Prime, Butcher & Singer, Continental Midtown, The Dandelion, El Rey and Parc. Mixologists will provide expert tips on how to make Starr's most delicious cocktails. Festival attendees who bring a canned food donation for Philabundance will be entered to win a gift certificate for dinner for two at each one of Starr's Philadelphia restaurants.• Center City District children's area featuring free family activities and entertainment from The city's leading cultural attractions and kidcasting from KYW Newsradio.
