Arizona Wind Symphony Concert | Women of Note
Included as part of the evening is guest vocalist, Sandra Bassett, who will perform the music of the great Aretha Franklin. Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the concert is 12News anchor, Caribe Devine.
The Arizona Wind Symphony was established in 2000 and has entertained the Greater Phoenix Area with a variety of musical styles for everyone to enjoy. The adult concert band is comprised of 85 professional and nonprofessional musicians who dedicate their time and talent of excellent music-making with the Greater Phoenix community. They perform five concerts during the season. Two concerts remain for the 2023-2024 season.
Sandra Bassett is a talented vocalist known for her powerful vocal range and smooth delivery. Originally from Detroit, MI, and now based in Phoenix, AZ, Sandra embraces the rich musical history of her birthplace, showcasing her versatility in genres like Jazz, R&B, Motown, and Blues. Currently, Sandra holds the position of CEO at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.
