Representative Sarah Liguori is teaming up with local nonprofit organizations and civic leaders to host Civic Spark, a Community Resource Fair on Saturday, August 9, 2025, aimed at helping residents find meaningful ways to get involved, volunteer, and support the causes that matter most to them.
Held indoors in Memorial Hall at Steele Indian School Park, the event will feature more than 35+ local organizations working across key issue areas—including education, housing, reproductive rights, environmental justice, disability services, and more. Residents are invited to stop by, meet with nonprofit leaders, explore volunteer and donation opportunities, and learn how to make a difference in their community.
“So many people in our community want to get involved—they just don’t know where to start,” said Representative Sarah Liguori. “This event is all about building bridges between passion and action.”
The fair is part of a broader civic engagement initiative led by local Arizona List intern, Quincy Carrillo, in collaboration with Representative Liguori’s office. The goal is to reduce barriers to engagement by creating a low-pressure, welcoming space for residents to explore how their interests align with local advocacy and service efforts.
