On Wednesday, Dec. 13, FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel and Match Market & Bar present their Willy Wonka-themed dinner, certain to be an enchanting dining experience for all. Food enthusiasts and fans of this classic story are invited to embark on a whimsical culinary adventure featuring a one-of-a-kind five-course dinner inspired by the pure imagination of Willy Wonka. Menu includes:
Amuse Bouche — Mini Golden Ticket Wonka Bar
First Course —Bucket Family Dinner featuring braised cabbage consumme, garlic dumpling and burnt rosemary
Second Course — The Inventing Room Salad featuring arugula, fresh mozzarella, strawberry, prosciutto and chocolate balsamic vinaigrette
Third Course — The Testing Room: Honey Cinnamon fizz shooter with “lickable wallpaper”
Fourth Course — Wonka’s Office featuring braised beef mole enchiladas, queso fresco, lime-cured red onion and cilantro
Dessert Course — Wonkavator: Flourless chocolate cake covered in a mirror glaze on top of a praline hazelnut truile with a milk chocolate hazelnut mousse and a candied hazelnut skewer
Dinner will be accompanied by a screening of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory”. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; dinner and movie begin at 7 p.m.
