FOUND:RE Contemporary and FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel, located at 1100 N. Central Ave., are working through its vibrant art exhibition series that explores monochromatic works of art inspired by the colors of the rainbow. Next up: “Blue.” The fifth exhibition in the series, “Blue,” debuts on Friday, Sept. 19, with an artists’ reception from 6-9 p.m. The exhibition will be hung in the studio space at FOUND:RE Phoenix through Sunday, Nov. 16.
“The color blue can evoke a wide range of emotions,” said Jordan Zurn, FOUND:RE’s group sales and catering manager, and art and culture curator. “As they make their way through this exhibit, guests can expect a wide range of artistic expressions as interpreted by their creators regarding this stunning hue.”
“Blue” presents the work of local artists whose work explores various shades, tones and textures of blue. This hue is explored through a variety of mediums and showcases the beauty and depth of a single color—this time, the vibrant and cool shades of blue.
“Blue” features the work of Isadora Hale, Paul Abell, Regina Alexandra, Alex Campas, Zon Carvalho, Kara Chaddock, Joshua Gridley, Alissa Hladysz, Seneca Kristjonsdottir, Yunie LeNoue, Hugo Marino, Stacy Marko, Brigette McBride, Gail A. McFarland, Jody Miller, David Mueller, Daniel Navarrette, Amanda Ochs, Ann Osgood, Mori “Acrylic Ninja” Pablo, Paulina Ramos Moreno, Carmen Ruiz, Cathy Stark, Lorraine Swartz, Colby Vickers, Jeff Weiss, Alexandra Yirak, Luis Zamora, and Randy Zucker.
